Williams' father-in-law donates $1 million

The Kentucky Gazette reported this afternoon that Terry Stephens of Russell Springs, the father-in-law of Republican gubernatorial candidate David Williams, donated $1 million in June to the Republican Governors Association. The RGA said before the donation that it planned to be “aggressive” in the commonwealth this year, because the Kentucky governor's race is one of only four in the nation.
