from lobbying the Kentucky General Assembly only. The figures do not include
earnings from the executive branch, which are estimated to be around 75 percent
(rule of thumb) of a lobbyist’s legislative branch compensation. The amount
that lobbyists are paid for working the executive branch of state government is
confidential — not reported to government, and, therefore, not available to the
public, because no law requires it.
